Aim and Fire

He loaded the gun and aimed it at the sky. Taking fire he threw his head back in laughter as it began to rain. A moment before the skies where clear but now only dark clouds remained.

"What are you doing?" she called out to him. Her voice was almost lost in the wind as she tried her best to keep dry.

"I'm taking god out!" he laughed, and at that moment his bullets crashed back down. He succeeded in his attempt. Hot lead ripped threw his skull while the smile remained on his face. All this time he never knew that he was god in her eyes.
